Physical Abuse
Physical Abuse means harm or threatened harm to the health or welfare of a child through: Non-accidental physical injury or any other physical act that can cause injury to a child.
Possible signs of physical abuse include but not limited to the following:

Bruises

Poor social skills

Defiance
-
Fear of adults
-
Aggression
-
Marks in the shape of an object

Unexplained bruises, burns or cuts

Destructiveness toward self or others
-
Clothing that may be inappropriate (i.e. long sleeves in summer time)
